Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry Magic Trick

Post Magick Lounge Sessioning

Taken last weekend after a great day at Sheffield’s one and only Magick Lounge.

A Magical Hexaflexagon

After watching the Martin Gardner documentary in the last post I looked up the item which was the subject of his first Scientific America column – Hexaflexagons. Hexagonal paper structures made by folding strips of paper which result in a two faced hexagon which can be folded to reveal a total of six different faces.

In looking into how to make one I found this free program which generates a template from the pictures you select. From this template you can then fold a hexaflexagon and each face will be one of the images you selected.

What has this got to do with magic I hear you ask? Well, if you find some folding instructions you can download this card magic related hexaflexagon template.
